A Food Blogger GIF Wall
When anyoneΒ pins from this blog to Pinterest I’m like:
On Fridays when I wake up and remember I’ve missed yet another French Fridays with Dorie postΒ I’m like:
When that food blogger we all know posts her avocado toast with a runny egg to Instagram again I’m like:
When you writeΒ to tell me you made these browniesΒ butΒ you and your family “hated them” I’m like:
When I metΒ writer, blogger, publisherΒ David LeiteΒ in person we were all like:
WhenΒ IΒ winΒ a ribbon at the County FairΒ I amΒ all like:
When a readerΒ asks me for tips on howΒ make aΒ recipe gluten-free or vegan I am like:
When you tell me I will get tons of traffic from your new cooking recipe search site if only I allowΒ you to index all my content for freeΒ I’m like:
When Dorie GreenspanΒ leavesΒ a comment on my blog I’m like:
When Michael Procopio leaves one I’m like:
When you told me you were going to start a new life centered around your “passion for cooking” by quitting your job toΒ start a food blog and make a ton of money doing something you loved I was all like:
One year later after you had a killer book deal and over 800,000 followers on Facebook and a million more on Instagram I was all like:
When we are dining together at a restaurant and youΒ point at me and tell the food server or hostess that I have a ‘well regarded food blog’ I’m like:
I hope you won’t be hiding under your pillow THIS Friday. As always, a most creative and amusing post…and worth waiting for. Fingers crossed that Dorie, et al will leave their comments after mine.
Love it! I can’t tell you how many blogs I’ve unsubscribed from due to blog fatigue (and blog boredom and blog repetitiveness and blah blah blogβ¦) but never yours, Trevor. It’s very hard to stand out in that world, but somehow you manage to do that year after year. Your unique voice, not to mention your tantalizing food and drink, continue to interest and entertain me. That is, as long as you don’t post a kale recipe! If I ever have to read another $%#&ing kale recipeβ¦ Sorry I digress. Anyway, back to you: BRAVO!
Oh Marcia! See Adele up above. I know what you mean about the kale glut! I can’t promise I’ll never do one but if I do I do promise I’ll have a in there just for you. Thank you so much for your kind words.
I hope this post is a sign of your triumphant return.
Perhaps!
No Food Blogger GIF wall is complete without Kurt Hummel. Well done. (And I’m glad to see you back in the saddle.)
Adam don’t you just hate it when they leave off Kurt Hummel? I do.
You are, like, . . . a genius. And responsible for the coffee now in my nose.
Ditto what Cindy says: GENIUS. COFFEE. NOSE. I also hope this is a return to food blogging and French Fridays, if you wish. This Post actually tops your Valentine’s Post of two years ago because it will not cause me nightmares, only dreams with giggles. How long did this take you to put together. What came first, the videos or the quips. I hope all your challenges and activities have settled down to a dull roar and that we will hear from you more often. As I told you in my e-mail, I have been missing you. You know, that connection thing between you and me!
So what you are saying Mary is that my cheap parlor stunt non-writing piece here tops my well-written, award winning, trΓ¨s-poignant Valentine’s Day post of yore? I can only let you get away with that because of that, um, connection thing between you and me.
LOL!!!
I think I just peed myself a bit. This is freaking hysterical! Now, who is that blogger who posts avocado toast all the time? Do tell!
Trevor, you should have your own tv series… ;0)
Oh poop. It didn’t let me embed the image. I was all this: http://www.goodmeme.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/111_googled___8220julia_roberts_crazy_laugh__8221_.gif
Loved it.
Awesome!
Well, Trevor, I am like “This is simply mahvelous.” I am SO glad to see you back, with your sense of humor intact. Benvenuto, amico!
This is much better than my avocado toast post, I admit, but I must point out that the egg was hard-boiled.
I can’t tell you how pleased I am to be associated with a Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid gif.
— swoon —
This is hilarious! I almost fell on the floor laughing. π
Food blogger since 2008 here…EVERY SINGLE ONE = YES.
Love you, Trevor!
You just made my day even more enjoyable!
OMG I love you! I can relate to every one. I’ve never met David Leite but I know my reaction would be the same. π
I wondered what you were up to. Well worth the wait. GREG
Crying laughing at work, I can so relate! This is the best! Well done.
Brilliant! I had a rather stressful hectic day, and your post gave a much needed chuckle. Thank you!
Glad to see you back – Cinderella, Seinfeld and Tangled, eh?
Trevor builds gif wall.
At last, trumphant return.
We miss the haiku…
Well, Cinderfella, I think you’ve dished up yet another fab post without one caloric morsel. How long did it take you to put this together? Every helping is a guffaw of delicious blogging neurosis. Nom, nom, nom. Please, sir, I want some… more?
I really donβt know how I missed this post, Trevor!! I am laughing out loud! Just too funny!
I came here looking for your post on Osso Buco! Really hope you will be posting again soon!! I miss my weekly laugh!
